What type of products do you offer?                                                                                                                                 

We offer digital files, matted prints, framed art, albums and canvases. If you purchase one of our Create Your Collection packages, you may add on holiday cards and other specialty items.

There are a lot of choices when it comes to photographic product offerings. As a boutique portrait business, we have taken great care to provide our clients with beautiful, high-quality archival products. These items are meant to be displayed and treasured in your home for a long time, so it makes perfect sense that they should be the best we can find. We never stop looking for great quality products for our clients! 

There are so many talented craftsmen in the great U S of A, so we source our fine art printed products from companies only based in the United States. Our vendors are carefully screened for environmental business practices and the use of sustainable materials. These professional labs also use archival paper and inks, so your prints are guaranteed to last a lifetime with proper care! 

What can I expect from the pre-shoot consultation?

This is when the fun begins! Our pre-shoot consultations are a great way for us to get to know each other before the photo shoot. We want to find out about your perfect portrait session and answer any questions you may have. Typically, we like to meet you in person. This can be at your home, or we can meet for coffee or ice cream (we never say no to ice cream!). 

We love collaboration! The more we know about your dreams and goals, the better we can tailor a unique experience for you and your family. And when it’s time for your photo shoot, we’ll have a plan in place so everything flows smoothly during our time together. 

What is lifestyle photography?

Lifestyle photography can mean different things to different photographers and the types of photography they specialize in. At Stacey Bonner Photography, we define lifestyle photography as capturing special and authentic moments with as little direction and posing as possible. We love capturing your unique reactions and interactions and believe these are the moments you will treasure the most years from now. Depending on the situation, we will introduce minimal props to round out your story and composition. 

How do I book a photo shoot?

Booking a photo shoot with us is easy - just drop us an email, or give us a ring. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have. A photo shoot date will be scheduled once we receive your full photo shoot retainer and signed studio agreement. 

What times are best to schedule an appointment?

Advance planning makes our photo shoot day a success! It's best to schedule your photo shoot to work with your family’s daily routine. If your child naps at a certain time, we'll plan the shoot to be either before or after your child wakes up to avoid tantrums and fatigue. Whatever your scheduling needs are, we are here to make your session a breeze and will work with you to find a time and place that works best for your family.

How many family members can I bring?

We generally allow up to 5 family members (including small children) per photo shoot. If you would like to add more members, which takes a bit more time and coordination, we require clients to book a double session to ensure the delivery of quality photographs.

Can we reschedule our photo shoot?

We understand that sometimes the unplanned happens. We will be happy to reschedule your photo shoot to another time with 48 hours notice. 

In the event you child is sick on our shoot day, please call to reschedule. We want your child to be comfortable during our photo shoot, and we want you to be completely happy with your photographs. 

Please note that while we are happy to reschedule your photo shoot, our photo shoot retainer fees are non-refundable.

What is included in the photo shoot price?

Each of our photo shoots include: 

• A pre-portrait consultation for collaborating on ideas and planning a successful photo shoot.
• Light image retouching (color correcting, skin and blemish retouching). 
• In-person image reveal and ordering appointment.
• Personal delivery of ordered print products.

Our photo shoot retainer fees do not include any digital or print products.

What can we expect during the portrait session?

Our photo shoots are designed to be laid-back and fun. We use the ideas from our pre-consultation session as a basis for our photo shoots, but make room for spontaneous moments. We do minimal posing and will gently direct you and your family. It takes a lot to get the family together for portraits, and we know it can be a bit stressful. Our goal is for everyone to experience a comfortable and stress-free shoot.

What should we do to prepare for our photo shoot?

We recommend packing any necessities the night before your shoot and getting a good night’s rest.

Please remember that we cannot proceed with our shoot until the studio agreement and model releases have been signed. 

What should we wear to our photo shoot?

Wear something that makes you feel great! Except for sweatpants - we all feel great in sweatpants, but don't wear these to your portrait session. 

While there is no correct answer, what you wear usually depends on your session goals. We’ve put together a list of ideas below. You can also refer to our style guide for some fashion inspiration.

• Bright colors look lovely! For couples and families, try choosing outfits with colors that complement each other rather than exact matches.

• Create textures! Bright woven scarves, faux furs, knits, bold prints, and interesting fabrics always look fabulous on camera.

• Avoid items that detract from the scene. White socks, large men’s watches, plain white t-shirts, and visible logos to name a few. 

• Have fun with the accessories. Heirloom jewelry, scarves, ties, bags, fun shoes, wraps, and hats can add a lot of character and pop tones to a photo. Although lots of accessories might seem a bit excessive in person, they really show up well in front of the lens. If you’re wondering whether a certain item is a good idea to wear, just ask! We’ll be happy to answer your questions.

Still wondering what to wear? During our pre-session consultation, we discuss what clothing would work for your photo shoot and can even personally help you pick out items from your closet.

What if there’s bad weather during our photo shoot?

Because Florida weather can be stormy one minute and sunny the next, we try our best to move forward with our original photo shoot date. A cloudy day is actually a great day for photos. As your shoot nears, we diligently watch the weather and will notify you if we think it’s best to reschedule.

When will the images be ready to view?

With the instant gratification of digital photography, we know you want to see your portraits as soon as possible. Please allow 2 weeks for your images to be ready for viewing during your pre-scheduled image reveal and ordering appointment. 

Our photo shoots include an image reveal and ordering appointment where we present your finished images to you in person. We are a full-service fine art photography business and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, finished art products for you to view and purchase. You have commissioned us to create beautiful memories for you and your family, and we believe the first time you see your images should be epic.

What happens at the image reveal and ordering appointment?

Finally those much anticipated photos are revealed! Approximately 2 weeks after your photo shoot, we bring our presentation to your home. Relax in familiar surroundings as you see a customized slideshow of your portraits set to music. 

From here, we take as much time as you need to answer any questions and help you determine what products fit your home, lifestyle and budget. All images and layouts are approved during the appointment, and if you choose the Create Your Collection package, you will be able to have your digital files the same day on USB.

Can my kids attend our image reveal and ordering appointment?

Of course! Children are welcome. 

If you are looking for a chance to relax and focus on the beautiful images and products that we will be creating for you, then you might consider arranging for childcare. We can also schedule your appointment when your children are in school. Our ordering appointments are usually no more than an hour and a half, but we are happy to add more time to the appointment to make sure all your questions are answered. 

Is there a minimum print order?

We do not require a minimum print order. 

When will my order be ready?

Our printed fine art products are handcrafted from scratch and will take some time to complete. Please allow 4 weeks from your order date for completion of your order. Custom designed albums and orders with framing will take longer. We promise the wait is worth it!
